In our practice, we have implemented several guidelines to create a pleasant environment for everyone. We kindly request you to carefully read the house rules listed below.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we kindly ask you to notify us at least 48 hours in advance (excluding weekends and holidays). Appointment cancellations can only be made by phone. If it was not possible to reach us by phone, you can send an email to praktijk@clearcaretandartsen.nl. Failure to cancel an appointment in a timely manner may result in charges for the reserved time.

In our practice we operate strictly by appointment. You can schedule or cancel an appointment by phone, on WhatsApp or at the front desk. If these options are not feasible, you can send an email to praktijk@clearcaretandartsen.nl. For scheduling an appointment, please provide your date of birth, contact information and details about the type of appointment you require and your preferred date and time. Once we’ve received your email, we will reach out to you to schedule a confirmed appointment.

We recommend arriving preferably 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late, there is a risk that the planned treatment may not be completed in full or may need to be canceled due to time constraints. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the smooth progress of appointments.

We would appreciate it if you check-in at the front desk upon your arrival.

When you contact us with a pain complaint or dental emergency, we will do our utmost to assist you as quickly as possible, preferably on the same day. However, please be aware that immediate availability cannot be guaranteed. If the practice is closed, you will find information on our answering machine regarding the emergency contact number.

You will receive a reminder email for your periodic check-up appointment. However, we would like to notify you that the email reminder is an additional service we provide. It remains your responsibility to attend your appointment.

Occasionally, a treatment may take longer than planned, which could result in subsequent appointments starting later. We appreciate your understanding in such situations.

It is necessary for you to carry a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license, passport, or identity card at all times. If there are any changes to your personal information, we kindly request you to inform one of our team members as soon as possible.

For the safety of everyone and to provide you with the best possible care, we kindly ask you to always inform us of any relevant medical details. This can range from pregnancy, medication usage, illnesses, and infections to abnormalities and allergies. Your complete and up-to-date medical information allows us to take the necessary precautions and provide appropriate treatment. Your confidentiality and privacy will be respected at all times.

The privacy of our patients is of utmost importance to us. We assure you that your patient information will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent. In the event of a referral to another practitioner, this will only occur after consultation between you as the patient and your treating dentist. Your confidentiality and privacy will be respected and protected in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

If our practice is closed, you can find the emergency contact number on our answering machine. For non-emergency care, we kindly ask you to wait until the practice reopens. If you are unable to reach us by phone, please send us an email to praktijk@clearcaretandartsen.nl. We will respond to your message as soon as possible.

Our goal is to provide maximum transparency regarding the costs that patients can expect. Therefore, we inform every patient in writing about the costs of a treatment (above €250). Since it can be difficult to estimate
the exact costs of a treatment in advance, we prepare comprehensive estimates. This way, you always have a clear understanding of the maximum costs you can expect. The final amount on the definitive invoice will generally be equal to or lower than the estimate. If it turns out during the treatment that the estimate does not fully cover the costs, for example, due to a complication, we will discuss this with you before continuing the treatment. Together, we will explore possible options and alternatives, so you can make an informed decision about your further treatment.

We kindly advise you to take good care of your belongings. Although we make every effort to provide a safe environment, we cannot take responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss of your belongings. Therefore, we recommend that you do not leave your belongings unattended.

Within our practice, we prioritize excellent hygiene. Therefore, smoking is not allowed in the entire practice, and we kindly ask you not to bring pets (with the exception of guide dogs). We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all our patients.

We value your feedback and encourage you to share your comments or suggestions. You can discuss this with our receptionist and/or healthcare provider. We would also greatly appreciate it if you take the time to leave a Google review so that future patients have an idea of what to expect. We strive for continuous improvement and aim to make your experience with us as positive as possible.

At our dental practice, we utilize Payt, a convenient and secure payment method. Payt is an online platform that allows you to easily and quickly pay your dental bills.
After undergoing a treatment, you will receive a bill from us through Payt. This bill will contain all the necessary information, such as the amount you need to pay and the payment deadline. Paying through Payt is simple. You can choose to make an online payment directly using methods like iDEAL or other available payment options. Additionally, you also have the option to manually transfer the payment via a bank transfer. One significant advantage of Payt is the ease of managing your payments. You always have a clear overview of your outstanding bills and can access and pay them at any time. Payt also prioritizes the security of your payment information. All transactions are encrypted and meet the highest security standards.

If you have not attended for a check-up for a period of two years and have repeatedly not responded to our recall letters, you may be automatically deregistered. This measure has been taken due to the shortage of dentists and to prevent unnecessary waiting lists. We encourage you to regularly come for check-ups so that we can maintain your oral health optimally. If you have any questions or wish to make an appointment, we are always here for you.
